1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MHY Studio website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Us

MHY Studio — The Mental Health Yogi — provides online courses in Reiki (Shoden and Okuden levels), yoga, and mental health and wellness education, along with community features through the MHY Circle. Our courses are accredited by IPHM and our yoga teaching is registered with Yoga Alliance.

3. Courses & Enrolment

• Courses are offered as self-directed (self-paced) or live online training, as indicated on each course page.
• Upon payment, you will receive access to the course materials for the format you purchased.
• Self-directed courses grant access for a minimum of 12 months from the date of enrolment.
• Live sessions must be attended at the scheduled time. Recordings may be provided at our discretion.
• Reiki attunement sessions are booked separately and may be conducted online (Zoom) or in person at 7c The Parade, Neath.

4. Payments & Refunds

• All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include applicable VAT.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• Self-directed courses: You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content.
• Live sessions and attunements: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund. Later cancellations are non-refundable.
• Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 working days.

5. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued for eligible courses after all required lessons are completed and reviewed. Reiki certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and, where applicable, the attunement process. Certificates are subject to manual review and approval by MHY Studio.

6. MHY Circle Community Guidelines

• Be respectful, kind, and supportive to all members.
• Do not post content that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or misleading.
• Do not share another member's personal or contact information without their consent.
• Respect the privacy settings of other members — do not attempt to circumvent them.
• Commercial advertising is not permitted without prior authorisation.
• MHY Studio reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, slides, and content provided by MHY Studio are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without written permission. Content you post in the MHY Circle remains your property, but you grant MHY Studio a licence to display it within the community.

8. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Our courses and content are educational in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reiki and yoga are complementary practices. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new practice, particularly if you have existing health conditions.

9. Liability

MHY Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the relevant course or service.

10. Account Termination

You may request account deletion at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful, unlawful, or fraudulent activity.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
